Organic, Fair Trade Gunpowder Green Tea

Gunpowder, so named for its resemblance to cannon powder at the time of its European debut, is known as 珠茶 (Zhū Chá) or "Pearl Tea" in Mandarin, referring to its size, shape, and luster. Like its elaborate cousins, the display teas, gunpowder green blossoms in the course of steeping, sinking to the bottom of the cup when ready to consume. Our gunpowder has a clean, complex taste of barley with mellow berry notes and a hint of oakly tannins.
