Organic, Fair Trade White Tea

White tea, or 白茶 (Bái Chá) is made from the uppermost part of the new growth on the tea bush. It has the least amount of caffeine and the highest amount of protective antioxidants. Once it is picked, it is immediately steamed to stop any oxidization and dried, which results in white tea being the least processed of all teas. Our white tea has a rich, tip of the tongue sensation of resinous tanins, a sweetness free of the glycerine cloy of lower grade whites, and an aftertaste of musk and honeysuckle.
